The True Story of How The Sue Sisters
Betty Sue, Daisy Sue and Patty Sue Joined The UASRO Team.

Well folks, if you've read Book One (if not you should), then you already know that my little brother Dunkin met Miss Daisy Sue under some rather unusual circumstances. You see, while we were helping track down the Crossville bank robbers, Dunkin experienced an engine outage and had to make an emergency landing in a farmer's hay field just off Arthur Seagraves Road. Now folks, anytime Dunkin is involved, things tend to get interesting. As it turned out, that hay field belonged to Daisy Sue's Mom and Dad.
At the time, Dad realized something important. He needed a sweet little girl dog character for Dunkin to spend time with. Up until then, our family consisted of Jake, Cooper, Dunkin, and me.
So Dad sat down and created Daisy Sue. But then he had an even better idea. Why stop at one adorable little dog when you can have three? And just like that, Daisy Sue gained two sisters - Betty Sue and Patty Sue.
Dad and Mom decided to make the Sue Sisters Cavalier King Charles Spaniels because they both think Cavaliers are some of the cutest dogs in the world. Personally, I think they may be right, although don't tell Cooper I said that. Corgis are very sensitive about these things.
Originally, Daisy Sue was only supposed to appear in Book One. Dad figured she would play a small role in the story and that would be the end of it. Well folks, the readers had other ideas.
Daisy Sue quickly became one of the most popular characters in the book. Before long, Mom and Dad decided that if Daisy Sue was coming back for Book Two, then Betty Sue and Patty Sue needed to come along as well. And once the three sisters arrived, they never really left.
Today, the Sue Sisters are featured throughout the series and have become an important part of our adventures. Whether they're helping with a mission by predicting the weather, performing in a talent show, or keeping us boys on our toes, Betty Sue, Daisy Sue, and Patty Sue always seem to make every story a little more fun.
And folks, that's the true story of how the Sue Sisters came to be. Sometimes the best characters aren't planned at all. Sometimes they simply come out of a hay field and decide to stay.
